Thomas and Hope both feel strongly about where Douglas should live right now. Hope feels that Douglas has a home with her and that it shouldn’t be disrupted. Hope also doesn’t want to make any sudden decisions about Douglas.

As for Thomas, he reminded Hope that this situation was supposed to be temporary. Thomas feels that enough time has passed that he should be trusted to take care of his own son again. Despite the many talks about Douglas, Thomas and Hope can’t seem to agree or come to a compromise.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Thomas asked Douglas to come over for a special Forrester family dinner. Douglas was excited about it, but Hope was hesitant to allow him to go. Douglas begged Hope to allow him but she probably wants the little boy back by a certain time.

On Wednesday, August 24, Hope and Thomas will have a phone conversation. It is teased that Thomas hangs up on Hope, which startles her. So, it sounds like Hope wants Douglas to come home immediately but Thomas refuses.

It is teased that Wednesday’s episode will feature the Forresters all coming together to celebrate their family. Thomas and Douglas will be in attendance. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) might also come to the meal. Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) could be there.

However, what about Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye)? Ridge is stuck in the middle of the Douglas custody battle due to Taylor and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). Could Brooke learn that Thomas hung up on Hope and crash the dinner? This will turn a happy family event into chaos, that’s for sure.

      It is about time that ridge gets a backbone and stand up for children for a change. He spent their whole life neglecting them for Brooke and her offsprings by other men. Now it is time for him to put on his big boy pants and side with Thomas. Thomas had enough fortitude to put Douglas well-being over his rights as the boy’s father. Hope and her mother took advantage of Thomas’s situation. Liam didn’t even want to be a father to Douglas.

        I couldn’t agree with you more! Steffy and Thomas both suffered irreparable emotional damage as children because of the insinuation of Brooke Logan into their existence and Ridge is just as guilty because he allowed it to happen. I personally don’t see what EITHER woman sees in him for that matter.

        I believe that Hope has clearly “forgotten” that Douglas is Thomas’ biological son and, yes, I vividly remember Liam not being crazy about the idea of Hope adopting Douglas after Caroline died.

        I’m very happy with the Forrester Family storyline and what’s happening with ALL of them. It’s a loving, positive, and healthy place for them right now. I’m glad Ridge isn’t fooled by Brook’s indiscretions again. So tired of the Logan merry-go-round. They all seem to get what they want. I like Deacon. Wish his role was a bit more positive though.

      I’m honestly sick of the merry-go-round storyline. I’ll start back watching when this foolishness is over. Ridge needs to be by himself and Taylor and Brooke needs new love interests. I’m just over this! Find some new interesting material and bring new life to B&B. Where’s the creativity?
