During a chat with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), Liam admitted he missed Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the girls. There are certain aspects of Steffy’s personality that Liam was drawn to – ones that Hope doesn’t really have. Of course, Hope brings her own specific traits to the table. She also has unique qualities that Liam loves – ones that make her nothing like Steffy.
Liam loves Hope and Steffy in different ways, but he can’t be with both of them. B&B fans can expect some “Lope” heartache soon enough. Thanks to all the family drama that’s come up, Hope and Liam will recognize that their marriage is fading fast.
The loss of Beth Spencer was a tough blow that they could never quite overcome. It made Hope more focused on Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington and Chloe Teperman), “Phoebe Forrester” (Isabelle de Armas and Rosalind Aune) and what they need. Now that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) is in the picture, Hope has another reason to walk away from Liam. She wants what’s best for all the kids.
If Hope couldn’t accept that before, she definitely can after comforting Douglas over his nightmare. She feels like she has to be there Douglas and believes Liam needs to be there for the girls, too. Of course, blended families survive and thrive all the time in the real world. There’s no reason they couldn’t make this work if they really wanted to.

That’s just it though… It doesn’t look like Liam and Hope will really want to anymore. They love each other, but sometimes love isn’t enough when it’s this complicated. According to “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers say they’ll share some tender moments as their relationship falls apart. Hope and Liam will make some difficult admissions, but it’ll be a necessary part of going their separate ways.
Over with Florence “Flo” Fulton (Katrina Bowden), she’ll remain torn between elation and guilt. Part of Flo will love her fabulous new life, but another part of her will hate herself for destroying Hope’s. “The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers state that Flo will become even more remorseful soon. Once she gets updates on the end of “Lope,” Flo’s sure to be distraught.
