B&B spoilers reveal that Taylor was shocked by what she learned from Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Even though Taylor never stopped loving Ridge, she also wants him to be happy. Taylor knows how much Ridge cares about Brooke. Taylor hoped that Brooke would treat him right.

So, when Taylor learned about Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), she took action. Part of it was making sure that Ridge took the news well. After all, Taylor has a way of saying things so they don’t sound so harsh. Taylor knew that hearing the news from her would be better than if it came from Steffy.

Ridge immediately assumed that Taylor was just hopping on the bash Brooke train. However, Taylor promised that she wasn’t, and “Beacon” wasn’t an assumption. Ridge didn’t believe Taylor, so she told him to go talk to Brooke about it.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Brooke has betrayed Ridge plenty of times. So, why didn’t he believe Taylor when she told him about “Beacon?” Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Thorsten explained Ridge’s doubt and disbelief.

“… I don’t know that Ridge necessarily believes that his wife would go after somebody like Deacon, or any other man, because we all want to think we are enough for somebody – but yeah, there is that little guy sitting on your shoulder saying, ‘You know who you are dealing with. It is Brooke and she follows her heart,’ whatever that means.”

B&B Spoilers – Fixing the Problem

After Ridge came home and listened to Brooke, he said that the truth was already out. He already knew about Deacon, which stunned Brooke. Ridge told her that he found out from Taylor. Of course, Brooke expressed guilt and hoped that they could salvage their marriage.

Ridge left for a little while and went straight to Deacon. Ridge punched Deacon so hard that he fell to the ground. When Deacon looked up, his face was bleeding. That is when Ridge demanded he get back up, suggesting he is far from done with using Deacon as a punching bag.

Even though Ridge thinks that beating up Deacon will “fix” Brooke’s betrayal, it could just make things worse. Will Deacon fight back or could he press charges on Ridge? We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to find out.
