The state of affairs at Forrester Creations would likely depend on who you’re asking. Steffy Forrester (Jaqueline Macinnes Wood), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and Eric Forrester (John McCook) would all say that the business is in danger and their livelihood is at stake.

But for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), the future couldn’t be brighter. Caught in between both sides is Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

It is still a bit shocking to realize that not only did Carter con Ridge and Steffy into signing Forrester Creations over to him, but he truly seems to believe that he deserves the job.

After years of loyalty to Eric, who built the company from nothing, Carter is acting entitled to the position that he now holds.

The Forresters have blamed Hope for this radical shift in Carter, despite him being the one with the detailed plan to take over and turn Forrester Creations into a luxury brand.

Hope didn’t actually have anything directly to do with Carter’s plan but he did start to speak it into existence once he found an ally in Hope. So maybe, she is somewhat accountable.

The Forresters never saw this version of Carter coming, and neither did the fans. He was always loyal, steady, and rooted in facts. That’s why Eric and Ridge have trusted him with everything for years on end.

Carter always has had a moral compass except for his misguided dalliance with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), which was ultimately forgiven so what gives now?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Can Brooke Remind Him Of Who He Used To Be?

If anyone can get through to Carter, it’ll likely be Brooke because they have both lost the same thing, Ridge. He was Carter’s best friend for years, and Ridge is also the love of Brooke’s life.

She took the CEO position at Forrester Creations under Carter’s leadership with the intention of using it to get the company back into its’ proper hands. Of course, at least for right now, Ridge sees Brooke as just as much a traitor as Carter.

Brooke has spent the last month nursing a broken heart, and finally, she has spoken up. She has told Carter that the takeover, the coup, is just wrong. She’s wondering how he can not feel any guilt over what he has done to his former best friend.

Brooke is trying to push those buttons to unlock Carter’s emotions that might just plug him back into the man that he used to be. Will it work? Do you think that Brooke can get through to him?
