Assuming that Finn is a compassionate doctor, as opposed to Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz), or Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), is a leap of faith on B&B. But Novlan’s character has been cautious when it comes to Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) medicine. So it seems as though he believes in living by his oath and practicing good medicine.

But the developing friendship between Steffy and Finn implies that personal feelings could impact the care he offers. Mixing a romantic relationship with a potential addiction issue would also create great drama.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Changing Doctors Is Right

As soon as Steffy and Finn officially move beyond friendship, then Doctor Finnegan will need to refer Wood’s character to a colleague. If he does that, then there won’t be any tug on his heartstrings resulting in further renewals of the apparently powerful pain meds.

Various people have met a significant other through an initially professional exchange. So, Steffy and Finn connecting through the motorcycle accident wasn’t wrong.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Alternative Option Would Be Bad

Assume that Finn doesn’t refer Steffy to another doctor when they become involved. Teasers are indicating that these two characters will become a couple. So, the pairing will likely happen soon and create the need for ethical decisions to be made.

It’s possible that Finn does refer Steffy to another doctor, but that he uses his license to approve more refills, or even stronger substances to help his new loved one deal with her pain. This type of storyline would be compelling, as Finn and Steffy could develop sincere feelings. But their relationship could be tied to a negative issue, thus dooming it to failure.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester’s Vulnerability Is Compelling

B&B is writing Steffy into territory that has many options. Seeing Wood’s character in an increasingly vulnerable state is a stark contrast to where she’s been in recent months.

Steffy rebounded from the devastating loss of Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson), due to the reveal, and her inability to revive a relationship with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

But the motorcycle accident represents a different challenge entirely. It’s created a new type of mountain for Steffy to climb. Whether she does it with Finn is just one of the questions that must be answered.
