The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has engineered another comeback. She has once again cheated death, this time by faking being eaten by a bear. Beyond that, her ingenuous pairing with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) appears to give her a legal advantage.

Teasers indicate that Sheila will be arrested. But a long prison stay might be avoided if Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) becomes Sheila’s unlikely advocate.

The diabolical blackmail trigger Bill presented means that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) will go to prison for his shooting if Steffy or John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) turn Sheila into the authorities.

So, TPTB have created a clever, potential way out for Sheila. Rather than have Brown’s character rely on herself, she has turned the soapy tables.

It is basically up to Steffy. Yes, she can contact Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin). But doing so means Taylor will be contacted by him about Bill’s shooting.

Sheila made her intentions known when she stood in the shadows of the Forrester mansion’s guest house. Finn entered while his wedding celebration was proceeding to contact a patient.

Devoted viewers recognized the specter. It was Sheila.

The resulting storyline has been one of the wildest ever. Brown commented that Sheila leaving her son for dead, after accidentally shooting him while intended to shoot Steffy, who she subsequently shot as well, was the darkest moment in Sheila’s life. Pairing this character with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Dollar Bill reflects a tour de force in daytime storytelling.

The tears that ran down Bill’s face actually represent hope. He is hurting inside. Sheila has no pulse yet walks among the living.

While Bill clearly has crafted a deal with everyone’s mortal enemy, he has also positioned himself aside of the villain. That means he can defeat her or, at the very least, prevent Sheila from harming those he cares for.
