The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) pulls a sneaky trick. He’s so confident that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) murdered Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) he might secretly record him to prove he’s a murderer to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Setting A Thomas Forrester Trap

Xander will set a Thomas trap by goading him into an argument about the night Emma died, and set up the room with hidden recorders and possibly video cameras.

He’s trying the same trick that Ridge Forrester, (Thorsten Kaye) Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and the FBI did to trap Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) into a confession.

The cops already cleared Thomas, and recording him without his knowledge would just be thrown out of court-but at least maybe he could save Hope with such a recording.

Xander would be pushing every button Thomas has to get him to confess to running Emma off the road on purpose, even if only to get Xander to shut up! At the very least, he wants Thomas to admit he wanted Emma gone permanently.

B & B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Already Confessed To Hope Logan

Thomas already confessed to Hope what happened that night, although he insisted it didn’t happen the way Xander’s making it out to have happened.

He admitted he followed her out of Forrester Creations, his intention having been to stop her from telling Hope that baby Phoebe Forrester was really baby Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza).

He told her they were both driving way too fast to be on Mulholland Avenue at night, and he was perhaps following too close so as not to lose her.

Thomas never intended for Emma to crash through a guardrail and over a cliff, losing her life that night-he didn’t call 911 because he didn’t think she could be saved.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Xander Avant Hopes To Prove Thomas Forrester Is Not A Changed Man

Xander hopes to prove that Thomas is not a changed man, and to record a vastly different narrative about the night that Emma died than what Thomas told Hope.

Hope may believe that Thomas has changed, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may believe he’s changed, but Xander doesn’t-not for a minute.

He wants to raise questions about Thomas’ redemption and prove he murdered Emma that night, even if he can’t do anything to get him arrested for it.

There’s a good chance Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is behind Xander’s sudden return to Los Angeles and his getting a medical appointment with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Liam and Xander may continue to plan and plot to trip up Thomas and trap him into a confession he killed Emma on purpose to keep her quiet.
