The Bold and the Beautiful Star Karla Mosley Starts Maternity Leave

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that it might be sometime before fans get to see Maya Forrester on the small screen again. That’s because her portrayer, Karla Mosley, is about to start her maternity leave. The beautiful actress, along with her husband Jeremiah Frei-Pearson, are expecting their first child together.
Even though Karla’s due date isn’t until August 10, there’s a good chance that she might give birth anytime soon, which means she’s probably at home nesting right now!
And while Karla’s life is definitely about to change – especially with nighttime feedings – the actress says that if there’s one thing she can’t do, it’s sit at home and do nothing. She’s used to being on her feet at all times and is desperate to get back to work soon after her baby is born.

Karla confessed in a recent SOD interview, “It’s hard for me to sit still. The thing that’s wonderful about this job is that everyone is so family friendly. So it may be possible for me to go in for just a couple of hours and then come back home, or keep the baby with me at the studio and have a nanny come with me to help. There’s so much possibility there, and I’m grateful for that, because I know that’s not true for many new mothers!”

Hell Yes I will miss Maya on B&B I can’t wait to see how B&B will explain how and why Maya isn’t on the show for awhile. I hope that her character and her husband on Forrester business.
They’ll probably just send Rick and Maya out of the country for awhile, maybe to visit Nicole and Zende.
I hope that the show will indeed finally explain what happen to Rick and Maya since they are showing up at Forrester Creation. I know that they working at the family company it would be nice to show them working at the other company office. It will be interested to see when Nicole and Zende replace will show up on the show.
I’m more curious how they will write Rick out since the actor portraying him has left the show – how will that get explained?
He hasn’t left the show entirely, he was just bumped to reoccurring status. If they need him and he’s available they will work him in as needed.
