According to reports, Rome will star in a brand new Hallmark film, which is really the go-to place for many daytime television stars who often look for projects to work on in addition to their soap work. He has just joined the cast of a movie by the name of Christmas Duet. And yes, the film is exactly what you think it’s about. Get ready for a sing along that will be stuck in your head from now until the holidays!
The plot states: Well-loved music duo Averie and Jesse, famous for their duet ‘Wouldn’t be Christmas,’ haven’t played together since they went their separate ways years ago. Averie gave up music and opened a beautiful lodge in a snowy Vermont town – while Jesse still tours, struggling to find the same kind of success they had as a duo. When fate brings them together over the holidays at Averie’s lodge just in time for the annual Yuletide Festival, can the magic of Christmas help reunite them once again?”
The cast also includes Chaley Rose and Tery Rothery. So far there are no details available about Rome’s character or when we can expect to see the film make its debut on the small screen. But seeing how it’s a holiday movie, there’s a good chance we might get to see it much later this year.

Of course, Rome Flynn has been keeping very busy these days. Ever since he left the CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful, he’s landed one exciting role after another. Just recently he played Gabriel Maddox on the hit ABC drama How to Get Away with Murder. He also played R.K. on The Haves and the Have Nots. In other words, Rome doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. His plate his full, which is exactly the way that he likes it!
