The Bold And The Beautiful Star Thorsten Kaye Is Causing Trouble!

He’s handsome, he’s talented, he’s a fan favorite, and apparently, he’s also got one wicked sense of humor, too! Of course, we are talking about The Bold and the Beautiful star Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester).

And while fans love seeing him every day on daytime television, the actor pulled a fast one on his fans – and his co-stars apparently – when he announced that he would be starring in a new sci-fi daytime television soap. Here’s what you need to know.

Is Thorsten Kaye Involved In A Top-Secret Project?

According to Soaps in Depth, Game of Thrones creator and acclaimed author George R.R. Martin hinted that his next project would be a science fiction soap opera. Thorsten, along with fellow soap stars Greg Rikaart and Eden Riegel starred in footage for a top secret Hulu project that was supposed to be about a mutant alien virus called Wild Cards.

And yes, it did appear as though the soap opera stars were a part of this new, if not very bizarre series. It left a lot of fans baffled and wondering what the heck was going on! Apparently, this was all Thorsten’s idea.

B&B Star Played An April Fools Day On His Fans

Thankfully, this was all nothing more than just an elaborate April Fool’s Day joke. Thorsten isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon. Eden’s husband Andrew Miller is one of the front runners for the show and clarified the entire situation on his Twitter account.

He wrote, “No, we are not doing Wild Cards as a daytime soap opera. My thanks to this merry band of pranksters, who put together our little jape. And to the talented actors who joined in on the deception.”

Ha! It’s great to see that everyone had a great sense of humor in this. But with that being said, a science fiction soap opera certainly would be an interesting idea, right?
