The Bold and the Beautiful star Vincent Irizarry (Dr. Jordan Armstrong) might be getting used to things on the set of the hit CBS soap, but it’s not this actor’s first rodeo. As a matter of fact, one of the reasons why so many viewers recognize Vincent is because he’s a soap opera vet who has been on daytime television for many decades. However, playing a doctor still has him tripping on some of his lines!

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: The Doctor Is In The House!

Vincent told Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “it’s always a challenge to communicate the medicalese – that’s not something that comes trippingly off the tongue.”

But unlike many of the other characters who have come and gone on The Bold and the Beautiful, his character has remained very professional. Vincent added, “His purposes has been mostly clinical but you never know. I could see it continuing if he starts developing some relationships with these people.”

Of course, many of Vincent’s soap roles in the past have started off as short stints but before he knew it, they turned into long-term roles. There’s a very strong possibility that might happen once again with his new role on The Bold and the Beautiful.

B&B Star Vincent Irizarry Reflects On His Soap Career

When asked about the early 1980s, which many fans have deemed the ‘Golden Age’ of soaps, he says that it was an exciting time in his career. That’s because both he and Judy Evans (who is now Adrienne on Days of Our Lives) were a supercouple on Guiding Light as Lujack and Beth. He recalls, “I didn’t know how to handle it at first. All of a sudden, people were coming up to me on the street freaking out. It was a totally different world for me. It took some getting used to.”

With that said, hopefully Vincent will be getting used to things behind the scenes on the Bold and the Beautiful set, too. That’s because his fans want him to stay! While no one knows what will happen next between him and the rest of characters, we do have a strong feeling that there is going to be some good drama coming up soon. Fans will simply have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
