According to reports, Kimberlin was hoping to represent her district but was defeated by her opponent, Raul Ruiz, on her Congress run for California’s 36th District in the House of Representatives. Also, Antonio Sabato Jr. was down on his luck too, as he lost to Democrat Julia Brownley for the U.S. House District 26.
Kimberlin shared a photo of the volunteers who worked tirelessly to make her campaign happen. She captioned the pic with, “To all of our fabulous supporters who worked tirelessly to get out those calls in our final hours my many, many thanks. We could never do it without you. Remember, together we are strong.”
So, what does this mean for Kimberlin and Antonio’s futures on daytime television? While it doesn’t look like Antonio will be going back to daytime television anytime soon, there’s a chance that we might see Kimberlin back on the small screen soon. After all, her character Sheila has been pretty busy with all of the Quinn and Eric drama in their marriage!
