CBS The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveals that the CBS sudser is once again on ice due to COVID-19. In a stunning reversal, the Los Angeles show must shut down for a third time due to coronavirus related issues.

According to Deadline, on Wednesday, November 18 a crew member working on the CBS show tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, the daytime drama had to tape scenes that were scheduled to film today and tomorrow into just one day.

Because of the positive result, the show was required to institute state/county procedures as well as industry standards in regard to COVID-19. This includes contact tracing and it means that everyone who came into contact with the infected person must now self-isolate.

In June The Bold and the Beautiful was the first U.S. soap opera to return to production while observing rigid COVID-19 protocols. Soon after the soap was required to suspend filming once again albeit due to multiple “false positives.” They changed labs and as soon as the snafu was settled filming began again on June 24.

B&B Spoilers – Production Has Once Again Been Halted

The soap doesn’t anticipate any problems with resuming taping after the latest scheduled break and fans shouldn’t expect any interruptions in new episodes that come to air. In other words, no repeats as was the case for months following the first coronavirus shutdown.

The CBS sudser is produced by Bell-Phillip Television and has a scheduled two-week Thanksgiving production hiatus starting Monday.

B&B Spoilers – A Staffer Has Tested Positive For Coronavirus And The Production Is Halted For The Third Time

After taping began on B&B on June 24 fans were treated to brand new episodes on Monday, July 20. This meant fans watched roughly three months of repeats.

The good news is that several shows have stayed in production following positive COVID tests, including The Kelly Clarkson Show and the upcoming American Music Awards.

The news of a third production shutdown comes as November Sweeps is underway. The storylines have been sizzling with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) in love with a mannequin and a hot love triangle has broken out between Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz), and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
