The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – First Soap To Resume Production

B&B is the first American soap to resume production. The news was shared on Instagram by Diamont and Lang, who is thrilled to be back at work. The actors posted photos showing themselves at the set location. However, filming hasn’t officially started yet.

According to Deadline, the CBS soap will officially begin filming again on Wednesday, June 17. We hope that this means The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, and Days of Our Lives will not be far behind.

The publication reported when new episodes can be expected to air on our television screens. While previous reports stated that costs would increase by 20 percent and production would be slowed down due to COVID safety protocols, we won’t have to wait several months as some believed. It’s estimated to happen as early as next month!

“There is no airdate set yet but the hope is for the half-hour soap to return to originals in early-to-mid July.”

Even though The Bold and the Beautiful fans have been enjoying “theme weeks” and looking back at memorable storylines, many are craving new scenes. So, this is wonderful news. As for if any storylines will need to be rewritten or scrapped due to the social distancing and COVID filming rules, we aren’t sure yet. However, there should be some news about that released soon.

Right now, the only soap that is airing new episodes is Days of Our Lives. Unlike other soaps, which film weeks to two months ahead, DOOL has a unique production schedule. They air six to eight months in advance. However, if the quarantine had continued, the NBC soap would have aired its final new episode in October 2020.
