The Bold and the Beautiful’s Darin Brooks Joins Cast Of Upcoming Thriller

Darin Brooks, also known as Wyatt Spencer on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” has been cast in the upcoming thriller titled “The Missing Sister.” The movie by Cartel Pictures is directed by Craig Goldstein, whose works include “Instakiller,” “A Friend’s Obsession,” and “The Wrong Mother.”

Cartel Pictures has produced “Fatal Friend Request” and several other Hallmark films including “Love to the Rescue.” The film is set to be released in October this year.

“The Missing Sister” tagline states, “When Sharon finally tracks down her estranged sister Raven, she’s elated to be back together until she begins to suspect that Raven isn’t her sister at all, but rather an opportunistic impostor.” Other cast members include Katrina Begin, Diora Baird, Mark Famiglietti, Brooks as Frank, Katie Michels, Maia Guest, and Momo Dione.

In the movie, Brooks will take on the role of Frank, while Sharon will be portrayed by Begin, who also stars in “The Party Planner,” which will premiere next year.

Darin Brookes Recently Had Heart Break After Pug Passed Away

Although exciting things have been happening to the actor, he recently had to deliver heartbreaking news. Brooks lost his beloved pet, Maddy the pug, whom he’s been with for 10 years. His pet died at the age of 17 years old and Maddy’s passing also took a toll on Brook’s wife, Kelly Kruger, who plays Mackenzie “Mac” Browning on “The Young and the Restless.”

Brooks shared the terrible news in social media but he also wanted his post to be a celebration of life. He wanted to honor Maddy, who has brought great joy to the couple. “Maddy, our pug, was 17 years old,” Brooks said. “She was a character. Strong, loving, sometimes ornery and had a ‘wont take no for an answer’ spunk (especially when it came to food)… But she was 17, like I said, and was only in my life for 10 of them but still, she was my lil one.”

His fans were quick to express their condolences. One fan said, “Pets are so special and it sounds like you all had such a great life together! I hope Maddy’s memories bring you both strength and happiness!” and another one said, “Fur babies are very much a part of our family. Hugs to you and Kelly!!”
