The Bold & The Beautiful Recap Wednesday May 27: Stephanie And Ann At War, Brooke Logan Gets A Shock

The Wednesday, May 27, 2020, The Bold & The Beautiful, which first aired in 2007, continues its “Celebrity Week” with Betty White playing Ann Douglas.

Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) sips hot drinks while watching Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) and Ann fawn over Eric Forrester (John McCook). Eric wants their opinions on designing his retail stores. Stephanie and Ann squabble over whether white marble is too expensive.

When Ann wants to put cream on the shopping list, Stephanie tells her mother that the only shopping list she needs is a condominium of her own. Pam says that, when they looked at places to live, their mother told the agent she wasn’t feeling well. Stephanie realizes her mother isn’t interested in leaving.

Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Brooke And Ridge Discuss Rodeo Wedding

Ridge Forrester (Ron Moss) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) discuss their plans to have a wedding on Rodeo. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and Felicia Forrester (Lesli Kay) are concerned that it’s turning into a stunt. Ridge says that the grand opening of the retail store needs all the help it can get. Brooke laments that she and Ridge won’t have a small, personal wedding, but is happy to give him a huge, sensational wedding that no one will forget. Phoebe Forrester (MacKenzie Mauzy) worries about Taylor Forrester’s (Hunter Tylo) reaction.

Rick Forrester (Kyle Lowder) mopes because Ridge and Taylor asked him to put distance between him and Phoebe.

Despite Stephanie’s best efforts, her mother refuses to move out of her home. Ann boasts that Eric won’t make her leave. Ann claims that Stephanie has denied her a place in the family. She doesn’t want to give up her relationship with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Stephanie says that there’s no room for Ann in her home. She won’t allow Ann to step in as the head of the family.

Ann says that Pam is more of a wife to Eric than she is. Stephanie has never lifted a finger and spends her time interfering in Eric’s business. Her only contribution to the business was the start-up money Stephanie’s father gave her. Ann wonders if Eric even gets a warm bed.

Stephanie says that her mother knows nothing about her or her marriage. She’s overstayed her welcome. Stephanie threatens to send her mother packing.

Eric worries that his retail venture will fail. Pam says that Eric is doing the right thing, even if it’s not the easy thing. They share a tender moment.

Bridget wonders if Felicia and Dante Damiano (Antonio Sabato, Jr.) will feel upstaged by Ridge and Brooke’s wedding. Dante asked Felicia to pack up the baby and move to Rome. Felicia refuses to go—she has her career and family back. Bridget can’t believe Dante would let Felicia go. Felicia reminds Bridget of Dante’s flings with Bridget and Taylor. Bridget hugs and consoles her.

Stephanie accuses Eric of complaining about her to Ann. Ann seems to think she knows everything going on in their marriage. Eric suggests that the dowager empress stay on in the guest house. Stephanie doesn’t want to be around her mother’s contentious, controlling, and disagreeable personality.

Eric argues that Stephanie is just as controlling, especially about the retail venture. He wonders why they even employed a minister to marry them if they’re just going to be business partners instead of lovers. Eric is tired of her harangues and cold shoulder in bed. He can never win with Stephanie.

When he demands that Pam and Ann stay, Stephanie storms out, headed for the office. Stephanie says that she can’t be a wifey-wife and build their company’s brick-and-mortar at the same time. Eric is passive-aggressive with his head in the clouds and depends on her to juggle everything.

Ann tells Pam she’d make a better wife to Eric than the self-centered woman he married. Pam suggests they go back to Chicago. Ann says that Stephanie is damaged, but Eric has it worse for having to live with her. Ann pushes Pam towards Eric.

Phoebe and Rick share a secret kiss while Ridge brags to Bridget that Rick has been a complete gentleman with Phoebe. Brooke is shocked when she walks in on the kiss.
