The Thursday, October 1, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful recap begins with, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) getting sucker-punched. She wasn’t prepared for Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) announcement that he’s having a second ceremony to marry Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) at his father’s home. Brooke wants him to wake up and realize that he’s being manipulated. She guarantees that Shauna and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) conspired against them. She begs Ridge not to go through with it.

Quinn tells her BFF to let it go. Shauna needs to get with the program and realize that Ridge’s agreement to marry her again is a testament to his commitment. She swears Shauna to secrecy about using Ridge’s phone to get Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to file the divorce papers. She bans Shauna from ever mentioning their trickery again. The wedding will be a new beginning.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Has Good Instincts

Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) tells Carter about Brooke’s misgivings concerning Shauna. Brooke has good instincts. She was completely right about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Zoe and Carter are surprised that Ridge and Shauna have lasted this long. Zoe tells Carter not to feel guilty about filing the papers. He was just doing his job. Carter is worried about his friend—deep down Ridge still cares for Brooke, despite being Shauna’s husband.

Next on today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap, Eric Forrester (John McCook) interrupts Quinn’s convo with Shauna. Eric is surprised to learn that Ridge and Shauna’s wedding 2.0 will take place tomorrow. Quinn says Ridge is all for the ceremony. She promises to take care of everything. Ridge and Shauna deserve a special, beautiful day. Eric only wants what’s best for Ridge and Shauna. Quinn puts him in charge of the martinis.

Brooke tells Ridge he can’t love Shauna the way he loves Brooke. Brooke fears that, if Ridge marries Shauna in front of everyone, he and Brooke won’t find their way back to each other.

B&B Spoilers – Carter Walton Visits Ridge Forrester

Carter pays Ridge a visit in his office. Ridge asks him to officiate the ceremony. Carter wonders if Ridge really wants the wedding. Why doesn’t it bother Ridge that he can’t remember the first ceremony? Carter believes that a relationship with Shauna can’t fulfill Ridge when his heart still belongs to Brooke. Ridge promises he’s got it under control.

Ridge informs Carter that he’s no longer lead counsel for Forrester because he’s been promoted to COO. Carter happily accepts. Eric interrupts and praises Carter for his work. Carter says they are like family. Ridge tells him to celebrate responsibly.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Eric Forrester Jumps In

Eric jumps on the bandwagon of friends and family asking Ridge if he really wants to marry Shauna. Eric asks if Shauna is the woman Ridge wants to grow old with. Ridge tells his dad not to worry. He’s happy. Eric says that a drunken wedding in Vegas doesn’t mean that Ridge has to honor the marriage, especially if he wants to spend his life with Brooke. If Ridge goes through with the ceremony, he’ll lose his future with Brooke forever.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show Brooke drops in to talk to Eric but finds Quinn texting Shauna. She accuses Quinn of plotting and scheming to keep Brooke and Ridge apart. They’re pressuring Ridge into another wedding. Quinn invites Brooke to the ceremony. It will help Brooke let go of the idea that she and Ridge are destined to be together.

Carter pulls Zoe’s leg. With a long face, he says Ridge told him he’s no longer lead counsel. She jumps to his defense. Carter is the most integral part of the company. He drops the bomb that he’s the new chief operating officer. Zoe is proud of him.

Quinn asks Brooke to take a good look at the portrait hanging over the fireplace. Quinn runs the house. Quinn and Shauna will lead the Forrester family forward. Brooke says it’s all about winning for Quinn—she’d do anything to spite Brooke. Quinn warns her nemesis that it all ends for Brooke tomorrow.
