The Bold And The Beautiful Recap & Spoilers Friday October 16: Finn & Steffy Romance Heats Up, Hope Calls Liam Out

The Friday, October 16, 2020, The Bold & the Beautiful recap & spoilers opens at the cliff house in Los Angeles where Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) sticks his nose in where it doesn’t belong. He hates that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is dating the man who blurred the lines of their doctor/patient relationship and cost Steffy precious time with her daughter.

Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) walks in on the confrontation and accuses Liam of messing with Steffy’s head. Liam is trying to make Steffy doubt her judgment and question their relationship. If Steffy wants to stop seeing Finn, it’s her decision, not Liam’s.

Steffy appreciates the guys’ concerns, but she can take care of herself, thank you very much. Steffy makes her own decisions when it comes to her personal life. She wouldn’t have a man in Kelly Spencer’s life if she didn’t think the man would be good to her. When Steffy goes to check on her daughter, Liam tells Finn he has every right to voice his concerns. Finn claims he wants what’s best for Kelly and Steffy. Liam admits that Finn is saying all the right things, but his gut is telling him that Finn can’t be trusted.

At Forrester Creations, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) tries to act like everything is okay, but can’t hide her worries about Liam visiting Steffy. She fears Liam will rant at Steffy about Finn. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) offers a listening ear but he’s anxious to get back to designing for Hope for the Forrester.

B&B Spoilers – Zende Forrester Is Looking For Zoe Buckingham

Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) comes looking for Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). Zende senses Hope is in distress and wants to know what’s going on. Hope is frustrated that Liam is overreacting to Steffy’s new beau. Hope fears that Liam is unable to allow Steffy to move on with another man. Finn seems like the type of man Steffy needs. Thomas says Liam is a father looking out for his daughter. He encourages Zende to go find Zoe.

Zoe disappoints Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) when she turns down his offer. It’s too early in their relationship to live together. The trials of the past have taught her not to rush into things. Her father abandoned her again and again. Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) disappeared too. She thought Thomas was showing her what love was, but he left her at the altar for Hope. Carter takes Zoe’s rejection as a “not yet” instead of a “no.”

Hope wants Zende to get his designs into production as soon as possible. Thomas worries that the message behind the new collection will get lost in the hoopla over Zende’s big debut. When Hope says Hope for the Future is about amplifying a wide range of voices, a frustrated Thomas argues that working with more than one designer will showcase that vision. Thomas gets a text and leaves quickly. On the way out, he drops his phone and hits his head on a desk. Zoe notices and wonders if he’s okay.

Hope tells Zende that it would be too complicated to have Thomas designing for them given their history. Zoe interrupts and says having Zende back at Forrester could take things in a whole new direction. Zoe flatters Zende about his groundbreaking and innovative designs. She offers her modeling services so he can make alterations.

The Bold And The Beautiful Recap – Liam Spencer Leaves

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show when Liam leaves, Finn and Steffy get some alone time. Steffy is disappointed that Kelly is sleeping and she can’t hang out with her. Finn thanks Steffy for defending him to Liam. He’ll do everything he can to keep a smile on her face. Finn looks forward to being a dad. He understands why Liam is overprotective of Kelly. Finn will do what he can to make Steffy realize how special she is. Finn and Steffy kiss.

Liam returns to Hope at Forrester. Hope wants to know if Liam chased Finn off. Liam can’t stay silent when Finn’s recklessness almost took Steffy away. Finn only got Steffy into treatment after the damage was done. Finn’s feelings for Steffy clouded his judgment. Liam wonders what other lines Finn would be willing to cross.

Hope can’t believe Liam blames Finn for Steffy’s addiction. Hope says no one could have realized she was struggling. Steffy still managed to find drugs even when Finn stopped prescribing them. Hope doesn’t believe Finn is a threat. Hope gives Steffy a chance to make up her own mind, as Liam should. Liam’s overreaction won’t help Steffy. Hope calls Liam on his jealousy.
