The Bold And The Beautiful’s – Hope Logan Is Not Fashion Forward
We know B&B is a fashion soap, one that used to be defined by large and elaborate fashion shows, often in exotic locations. We haven’t seen one of those in several years, but Forrester Creations still has Hope for the Future by up-and-coming designer, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), who got there via nepotism. At least we assume that is the only reason she was hired because her fashion sense is pretty much off the wall.
Last year, we got Hope Little Bo Peep dress and wondered where her parasol was. It could have also doubled for a Little House on the Prairie dress except it was so short that nobody in Laura Ingalls’ circle would have dared wear it back in the 19th century. We don’t know why Hope would choose such an outfit nor why the soap chooses to keep putting her in these getups and perhaps they need it pointed out that this just doesn’t work for a fashion-forward Los Angeles woman.
B&B Spoilers – Why Is Hope Logan Wearing That Cowboy Hat?
Hope likes hats. This much we know. She wears them with many outfits and we just let it go, but nothing can explain the cowboy choice she donned this week with another shorter than short skirt, some pea green suede boots, and a plain off-white tank. None of this makes any sense for a woman like Hope and we want to know what she is thinking when she looks in the mirror.
But, more importantly, what is the B&B wardrobe department thinking? This is not how a young fashion designer dresses for everyday life as a mom of two living in a small cottage. Make it make sense. This is almost worse than the serpent on Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) hot pink sllk dress last year.
Yes, B&B is about fashion, but it was once about GOOD fashion. This is not good fashion. This is perplexing, so perplexing that even the original Sally Spectra (the late, great Darlene Conley) wouldn’t understand why anyone associated with Forrester Creations would wear this stuff. Stay tuned to The Bold and the Beautiful weekdays to see if Hope gets any fashion sense.
