Coronation Street: Adam Barlow Decides To Resign As Lydia’s Revenge Plan Intensifies

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) will make a tough decision this week. He’ll decide to step down from his job as Lydia Chamber’s (Rebecca Ryan) revenge plan against him intensifies.

Adam learns that a client backed out of doing business with him because of the flack he’s getting online. He also finds out that someone reported him to the Solicitors Regulation Authority and could be struck off as a solicitor.

So, Adam decides to stay away and step down from his job while he sets out to clear his name from all the accusations Lydia made against him. Adam’s life continues to fall apart but Lydia warns him that she’s not yet done.

Coronation Street Spoilers  – Lydia Chambers’s Devious Schemes Against Adam Barlow

Fans have seen Adam go through hell over the past few weeks courtesy of Lydia. She’s come up with a revenge plan against him because of the way he treated her with they were together in college. He also didn’t recognize her when they were reintroduced, which made Lydia even more furious at him.

First, she stalked him and broke into his flat and left him with threatening letters. Then she started to plant seeds of doubt in Sarah Platt’s (Tina O’Brien) mind about her husband’s fidelity.

Lydia then accused Adam of cheating on his wife. She left false clues to back up her story that she’s been having an affair with her husband.

She claimed that they were unable to resist the temptation because of their past together. Adam returned home and learned about Lydia’s claims.

He tried to convince Sarah that Lydia is lying, to no avail, because Sarah believed that she had all the proof that says otherwise.

In another wave of schemes, Lydia accuses Adam of a crime that she staged. Adam visits Lydia’s flat and asks her to talk. But she’s already got a plan in place.

She trashed her flat as part of her scheme to make it look like Adam did it. So when Adam came by, Lydia pretended as though Adam was threatening her to get the attention of the passers-by.

Adam calls her bluff and threatens to call the police but Lydia seems to be always one step ahead of him because she already called the police.

Later on, Lydia lies to Sarah that Adam forced his way into her flat and trashed her place apart.
