Coronation Street: Kelly Neelan Finds Herself In Grave Danger In New Plot

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Kelly Neelan’s (Millie Gibson) life will be at risk as she crosses paths with Nick’s (Greg Wood) associate, Kieron. She’ll soon realize that she’s put herself in danger as she tries to do a good deed.

In upcoming scenes, Kelly gets in touch with Kieron, an old client of her dad. She tries to pay him back using her dad’s money, which she found, in an attempt to make up for her father’s crimes. Gary Windass (Mikey North) warns her to stop what she’s doing because he knows it’s dangerous. He told her not to get involved in Weatherfield’s criminal underworld. But, Kelly’s too stubborn to listen.

Kelly Gets Kidnapped

Gary and Kelly get into a heated argument. But the latter chooses to ignore Gary’s warning and meets up with Kieron. He realizes that he can get more money out of her so Kelly ends up getting kidnapped. She’s held hostage in an old cellar, where she fears that she’ll be killed anytime.

Gibson’s Take On Kelly’s New Storyline

Millie Gibson, the actress who plays the role, says that her character always finds herself in “awful situations.”

“Kelly is distraught. Every time she gets herself into these sorts of situations she feels like she has hit rock bottom, but then another situation comes around. So it’s a constant cycle of awful situations for her,” she said.

“Kelly is fearing for her life – she knows what her dad was capable of so she is terrified of what his enemies could do,” Gibson explained.

Will Kelly See Gary’s Dark Side?

As Kelly gets hostage, Keiron demands the rest of her dad’s money. So he calls Gary using Kelly’s phone and asks for £50,000 if he wants to see Kelly return home alive.

Gary manages to gather £24,000 and meets with Keiron and Ross. But the villainous pair want the full amount so they threaten Gary that if he doesn’t pay up, Kelly’s life will be in danger. Fans know what Gary is capable of. Fortunately, he has other things in mind and he’s not about to let them hurt Kelly in any way.

Gary manages to get into the cellar where Kelly is being held prisoner. When Kelly asks how he found her, he tells her about the tracking device he secretly planted in the bag. But before they could leave, Keiron arrives at the cellar wielding a crowbar. How far will Gary go to protect Kelly?
