Coronation Street: Max Turner Suffers Terrible Accident After Fight With David

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Max Turner (Paddy Bever) gets into an accident next week after a fight with his dad, David Platt (Jack P Shepherd).

It all starts when Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) finds out that Max was the person who spread the videos and images of Nicky Wheatley (Kimberly Hart-Simpson) as a sex worker. Max looked up Nicky’s old stage name as a sex worker and shared her revealing images in school. Because of this, Nicky was suspended and lost her new job as a teaching assistant.

Daniel confronts Max and insists that he must admit to spiking Amy Barlow’s (Elle Mulvaney) drink at the school Valentine’s dance. It was revealed that Max spiked Daniel’s drink with GHB. But the drinks got mixed up and Amy ended up drinking what was supposed to be for Daniel.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Serious Warning

But Max won’t take Daniel’s warning seriously. He thinks he’s just bluffing. But he’ll soon feel the pressure of having to tell the truth when Amy falsely accuses another student of spiking her drink during the party. He’ll continue to feel guilty and will start to feel stressed.

Later on, Max will have a major fight with David. The latter punishes him by confiscating his phone, leaving Max furious. He says he hates David and the latter retaliates by saying that Max’s mother will be ashamed of him if she’s still alive.

Max tries to get his phone back and plans to run away from home after. He smashes the glass on the door at the barber’s and locates his phone. Things are going well according to his plan until he injures himself while climbing back out of the door. He lacerates his leg and bleeds out.

Max loses his consciousness outside the barber. Will someone find him before it’s too late?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Max’s Dark Storyline

In a previous interview with Digital Spy, Paddy Bever said that his character feels anger towards Daniel. He’s angry because Daniel is threatening to destroy the only stable relationship he has, which is with David.

When he learned about what happened to Amy, Bever said that Max started to feel guilty. His anger towards Daniel started to fade. He began to realize the weight of what he’s done.

“He doesn’t like the version of himself that has hurt someone so badly,” he said.

“I think it will make Max more self-aware, he’ll continue to do what Max does which is cause trouble. But whether that will be aimed towards Daniel, I don’t think so, I hope this has taught Max a lesson,” Bever added.
