Coronation Street shocker: Imran And Toyah Reunites To Fight Against Abi For Alfie’s Custody

Coronation Street spoilers have teased an upcoming reunion for estranged couple Imran Habeeb and Toyah Battersby to apply for full custody of baby Alife against her mom Abi Webster.

Imran (Charlie de Melo) has been trying to win back his partner Toyah (Georgia Taylor) who’s devastated by baby Alfie’s arrival as it jeopardized baby Elsie’s adoption. She previously hit the bottles when Elsie was taken by the social worker and she misread Adam Barlow’s (Sam Robertson) comfort so she made a move on him.

Imran took the opportunity to ask Toyah to put things right between them but Toyah was furious as she doesn’t want to be placed in the back seat and Abi (Sally Carman) in front as Alfie’s mom.

But things will take a turn next week when Imran turns her back against Abi and finds an ally in Toyah to win the custody battle for Alfie. Is Toyah right with her decision?

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – The Battle Begins

At first, Toyah is against Imran’s ploys as he hires a private investigator Ben to find anything they can use against Abi. But she will change her mind next week when she hears Abi and her solicitor Elliot also plotting ways to take ahead of the battle against Imran.

Toyah insists that Abi isn’t a fit to be a mother to Alfie, so she backs up Imran in this game and informs him of her decision. This comes at a high time as Imran previously discovered from Kelly (Millie Gibson) that Abi confiscated a bottle of morphine from her in order to save her from taking the drugs but the solicitor was worried Abi is the one taking it. Who will win this battle?

But later, Toyah doubts her choice of siding with Imran yet again when they go to see baby Alfie at the neonatal unit and Abi informs them of her plan to let them all have a part of the baby’s life. Who will Toyah side in the end?

There’s hope for the Imran-Toyah shippers as they were spotted filming new scenes together after the baby drama.

It seems like the couple will get back together as Manchester Evening News published new snaps of Corrie stars Georgia Taylor and Charlie De Melo who filmed driving scenes near the Etihad stadium.

Does this mean they will win the battle against Abi? How will Abi cope with this? Will she hit another low?
