Coronation Street Shocker: Imran Meets With HIs Mystery Woman — Abi Franklin

Coronation Street has aired an explosive episode, revealing who the lawyer, Imran Habeeb, cheated on Toyah with it turned out to be the grieving mother, Abi Franklin.

Imran (Charlie de Melo) was busted by his partner, Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) after deceiving her in a series of lies to hide his whereabouts after the outcome of Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) murder trial which saw their foster child, Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) devastated as she’s found guilty.

Imran’s ex-wife, Sabeen (Zora Bishop), was caught in the middle when Toyah suspected she was Imran’s mystery woman. When Sabeen observed that he’s keeping his sins under the rugs, she used it to blackmail Imran to join her in her case appeal for drug lord Harvey (Will Mellor).

Having to deceive Rita (Barbara Knox) in order to get information, Imran came to his senses and refused to be Sabeen’s slave. With this, Imran was forced to come clean to Toyah confessing his sins that he slept with a random woman in a hotel but has forgotten what really happened.

However, Wednesday’s episode (October 13) has proven Imran has been lying all this time as the soap revealed that his mystery woman is Seb’s mourning mother, Abi Franklin (Sally Carman).

Abi escaped Weatherfield when her son’s murderer, Corey Brent (Maximus Evans), was set free despite the evidence against him leaving her fiancé Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) behind. Abi returned to the cobbles but not to reconcile with Kevin but to advance her revenge plans that she has no free time to even think about her one-night stand with Imran.

In a heartbreaking scene tonight, Toyah and Imran were preparing to meet their new foster child, Elsie, but Imran headed to meet Abi to tell her they’re busted. He quizzed Abi about her plans to tell her fiancé, Kevin, as Toyah already knew he slept with a woman but assured her she didn’t know it was Abi he was unfaithful with.

Abi, occupied with her revenge plans, told Imran she’s too busy to deal with their sin being exposed. How long will they be able to hide the truth? How will Toyah and Kevin react if they found out?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Shocker Charlie De Melo Confirms Trouble For Imran After An Unfaithful Night With Abi Franklin

“Coronation Street” star Charlie de Melo has revealed his character Imran will be in trouble after he cheated with Abi. In an exclusive interview with Metro, the actor admitted he doesn’t know a lot about what’s coming, but based on what they have already filmed, he’s pleased with the dynamic.

The actor teased for very terse and tense scenes, as their secret could be exposed any moment. “It’s an ongoing threat. It’s really fun to get to grips with–it’s another performance in a performance,” he said.

Speaking about the possibility of losing his avid fans, the actor hopes there would be some backlash: “Because it shows people care–I’ll be the first to say he’s been an arse!”
