Maria Connor (played by Samia Longchambon) and Gary Windass (played by Mikey North) are expected to have a conflict as they argue about what happened with Max Turner (played by Paddy Bever).

In the upcoming episodes, Max’s involvement with an extremist group will be revealed. He will be sentenced over the racist videos he shared online and how his actions were the reason why Blake (played by Adam Little) stabbed Alya Nazir (played by Sair Khan) at the Pakistani restaurant Speed Daal.

Max’s dad, David (played by Jack P. Shepherd), expressed that he is anxious about what is about to happen to Max. He told this to his Mom Gail (played by Helen Worth), probably because she is his grandparent and would understand how he’s feeling.

Meanwhile, Maria felt remorseful toward David. She said that David tried his best to keep Max away from the extremist group. This statement was immediately countered by Gary, saying that Maria shouldn’t defend David. But Maria is still convinced that Max’s actions are his fault, not David’s.

Their difference in opinion about what happened could cause a conflict. And Maria defending David could really drive this over the edge. But would Maria still continue to support Max even though she already knows how Gary feels about the situation? How does Gary truly feel about Maria defending Max and David?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Potential Max Turner Exit

Max already pleaded guilty to his actions and has already been detained in a juvenile detention facility. Since he is about to get sentenced, it could mean that this is his character’s exit. But since he is a minor, this could be temporary. And he wasn’t really the one who did the horrible act. But still, he provoked this violent action which could also mean that his sentence could be heavy.

The show already teased what could be Max’s sentence, and it was influenced by the fact that Alya didn’t file a statement after her attack. This could affect Max’s sentencing as well. But could his storyline be maintained even if he’s detained?

There are a lot of revelations for next week that could totally the overall storyline of some of the characters.
