The Weatherfield residents will be swayed with a series of calamities, which guarantees to rival the famous tram crash years ago, having a catastrophic rainstorm, a collapsed sinkhole, and an intense car accident that results in the drug lord Harvey Gaskell’s (Will Mellor) prison escape which sacrifices one life of the Alahans. Could it be Aadi?

Latest “Coronation Street” spoilers have revealed that an injured evil Harvey is transported to the hospital via prison van. Meanwhile, Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) with his children, the twins Aadi (Adam Hussain) and Asha (Tanisha Gorey) who are oblivious of the danger that’s coming, goes on a trip for a family holiday.

However, the storm makes it difficult for Dev to see the country road and in no time, they are lost in what appears to be the lane where Harvey’s prison van is heading.

Dev’s Ultimate Sacrifice

The photo snaps posted by ITV show the difficult situation, which requires the patriarch Dev to make a horrifying situation by saving one and leaving one of his children in the burning car.

Dev is seen cradling an unconscious Asha away from the wrecked car in the middle of the storm and spoilers have teased the car will later explode. Will Dev leave Aadi to die alone? Or will he try to return to rescue Aadi and die?

No matter how this tragic story ends, the question is, how will the Alahan family move forward from this? And what will happen to Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) now that Harvey is on the loose?

Corrie Boss Macleod Reveals Aadi Has Been Feeling Left Out By Dev

Corrie viewers knew Dev has focused on protecting Asha in the previous storylines following his daughter’s trauma after being bullied with sexual harassment and her issue with skin bleaching, and recently in her involvement with evil Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) which saw Asha settling in a house with the villain.

“Aadi has felt like, ‘Hello I’m over here.’ It’s very believable. The Alahans are the most normal and relatable family to me, their dynamics feel very real,” Macleod added.

The Corrie boss pointed out the Alahans are a fantastic and central family and the upcoming story is relatable to anyone who has a sibling.

How will Asha react if she knows Aadi has been put aside in order for her father to save her? Will she continue to live bearing that guilt?
