Coronation Street Spoilers: Aadi Alahan Leaves His Family

“Coronation Street” spoilers have revealed that Aadi Alahan will rebel against his family after the car crash that caused him to hate his father Dev for rescuing his twin sister, Asha, first.

Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) was very disappointed at his father Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) during the Super Soap Week scene when their family car crashed with drug lord Harvey Gaskell’s (Will Mellor) prison van.

Viewers saw Aadi asking his father to help him get out of the crashed car but was rejected as Dev prioritized Aadi’s twin sister, Asha (Tanisha Gorey) who was unconscious. Aadi still can’t process the fact that his father left him to die in the burning car that later exploded.

Upcoming next in the ITV soap, despite Dev’s effort for his family to move on from the tragic event, Aadi continues to live in resentment towards him. The young man believes it is better to move away from Weatherfield and start living on his own.

Aadi informs Dev about his plan of moving to London to take on a new job, thinking that Dev will fund his rent while living in the capital but he soon changes his mind when his father offers to promote him as the general manager of his three shops.

However, Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) breaks the mood when she tells Aadi his father can’t afford the rent as most of his budget goes to Asha. Aadi is quick to presume Dev is hiding his intentions with the job promotion, which disappoints him all the more.

Dev opposes Aadi, saying he loves his children equally, but the situation turns more intense when Asha arrives as Aadi’s triggered to see her. No more hiding, Aadi rages at Asha, expressing how tired he is for living as her twin sister’s second best.

Dev and Asha freeze when Aadi lashes out, and the student slams the door and leaves. Is Dev losing his son?

Dev receives word that Aadi has asked his crush, Summer (Harriet Bibby) to stay on her sofa. Later next week, Dev worries when he learns Aadi has grown closer to newly freed bully Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) and that she has offered him a temporary abode to stay. How will Dev win his son’s heart back?
