Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) will make a shocking discovery during Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) and Kelly Neelan’s (Millie Gibson) murder trial. She’ll find evidence that may prove that Corey’s father, Stefan Brent (Paul Opacic), bribed Eli’s (Liam Scholes) dad so his son can testify in favor of Corey.

Fans know that Corey and Kelly’s trial is underway. Both teens are facing murder charges following the unprovoked brutal attack that led to the death of Seb Franklin. Viewers know that Corey killed Seb. However, he’s shifting the blame to Kelly.

Abi went with her gut when she felt that something was off. So, she checked everyone’s social media accounts. One thing stood out and it was the sudden promotion of Eli’s dad at work. Abi told Kevin Webster (Michael le Vell) that Eli’s father was promoted from a regular delivery driver to senior logistics consultant at Stefan’s company two weeks ago. She believes that it’s a bribe and in return, Eli must say good things about Corey on the stand.
