Wendy, who is now called Wendy Papadopolous, has been designated as Alfie’s foster carer. Fans know that Abi has been fighting to get legal custody of her baby following the tragic and unexpected death of Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo). The court has ruled that she can look out for baby Alfie provided that it’s under the supervision of a foster carer.
Wendy will be watching Abi closely and will take note of how she cares for her baby. She’ll keep all her notes on her laptop, which Abi will notice. The latter will wonder what Wendy is writing about her so she takes a peek while Wendy isn’t around.
She’ll be disappointed and furious as she learns that Wendy has made several critical comments about her parenting skills. She’ll confront Wendy, who will be left surprised given that her notes were supposed to be confidential and private. Fans will have to wait and see how Wendy responds when Abi confronts her about her notes.
Sally Carman Teases Happy Ending For Abi and Baby Alfie
In a previous interview with Digital Spy, Carman teased that her character and baby Alfie will have a happy ending. During the British Soap Awards, the actress said that the producers of the show won’t tell you anything about what’s coming up for your character unless you specifically ask.
“I never ask because I can’t hold my own water, so the less I know, the better! Or else I’d just be telling you everything – which might be good for you, not so good for me,” Carman said.
“So I actually don’t know, but I know that it’s gone quite quiet script-wise, so I’m guessing that she’s going to be happy for a bit. Which suits me fine!” she continued.

Ed works on a radiator at Debbie’s hotel and gets hit by an electrical shock that renders him unconscious. As Ed is rushed to the hospital, Debbie realizes that she could have prevented the accident from happening if she had the hotel inspected for its safety. Others, including Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw), start to realize that Debbie could have avoided this situation from taking place.
Aggie confronts Debbie and threatens to bring in the solicitors for an investigation. Will Debbie be sued for negligence?
