The former homeless man tried to clear his name, but he ended up in prison when Craig (Colson Smith) arrested him for breach of peace.

Meanwhile, Zeedan (Qasim Akhtar) started to investigate Stu’s case when Craig told him that the detective Stu accused of persecution had an early retirement with a fake reason. Later that day, Yasmeen decided to give Stu a chance to tell his story, especially his affair with Charlie. On the other hand, Walter, Stu’s solicitor, confirmed that the old man was coerced into confessing.

In his latest chat with Metro.co.uk, Bill Fellows revealed that Stu Carpenter finally convinced the Nazirs that he’s innocent of the murder accusations. Stu also got to visit her daughter Bridget again and was stunned when he knew about his granddaughter.

“He also now wants to fight to clear his name because he does not want his granddaughter to think that he is some kind of monster. Those are the two motivations that are pushing him to clear his name and it is very important to him. He wants his daughter and granddaughter to look at him as a decent man,” Fellows stated.
