Coronation Street Spoilers: Audrey’s New Romance Geoff Might Be Related To Someone On The Street

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that new character Geoff (Bartholomew) might have a connection to Weatherfield villain Pat Phelan. (Connor McIntyre) Viewers saw how Audrey  Roberts (Sue Nicholls) was instantly smitten with Geoff at the hospital. She was resting after having been almost mugged on the street. The assailants threw her on the floor as Roy Cropper (David Neilson) tried to fight them off. Audrey thought Geoff was a doctor while she and Rita (Barbara Knox) were looking for help in the hospital.

Apparently, Geoff is soon going to become Audrey’s new love interest. He introduced himself as Geoff Metcalfe, leading many to speculate that he might be related to Tim Metcalfe. (Joe Duttine) What’s more, Geoff also has family in Weatherfield but Audrey doesn’t know this yet.

At first, Audrey and Rita didn’t react to Geoff’s surname, but a lot of viewers believe that he might be connected to Tim. There’s a strong possibility that Geoff might join Tim in taking down Weatherfield’s most notorious villain, Pat Phelan.

Now, Geoff and Tim know that they have to act before it’s too late. Pat knows that everyone is on to him and that soon enough, Vinny Ashford and Andy Carver’s body will become discovered. That’s why Pat decided to leave town with Eileen (Sue Cleaver) to spend a few nights in a cottage. Little does Pat know that Eileen is also on to him and that she knows his secrets. If Geoff and Tim don’t take him down, it might be his very own wife that might settle the final score.

So far Coronation Street producers have made no additional comments about Geoff or how long he’ll be sticking around in Weatherfield for that matter.
