Coronation Street Spoilers: Baby Plot Twist For Abi And Imran

“Coronation Street” has uploaded the soaps’ first look for 2022 and it teased a baby is on the way for Abi Webster and Imran Habeeb after their one-night stand.

Corrie’s trailer video for Christmas hinted the duo will revisit their cheating issue as Abi (Sally Carman) is seen talking to Imran (Charlie de Melo) over the phone announcing: “We need to sort this out.” Imran, on the other line, looks terrified when he sees Abi on the street.

Happening in January next year, Abi meets with Imran to discuss what to do as she fears their one-night mistake resulted in a baby in her womb.

It has been months since the pair successfully hid their sin from their partners, although Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) discovered her husband had cheated on her, all she knew is that he shared the bed in a hotel with a random woman.

Abi, on the other hand, experienced a fairytale wedding as her husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell) married her despite leaving him to pursue her mission of killing evil Corey (Maximus Evans). But their marriage might soon lie in tatters if Abi’s pregnancy suspicions will be proven true. Will Kevin still accept her?

As Imran and Abi continue to meet secretly, Toyah gets suspicious again especially when Imran disappears during New Year, to which the latter insists he was out watching fireworks. Will she buy his lies?

Determined to get the answers they badly needed, Abi announces her plan to take a pregnancy test when the two meet in the Victoria Garden. She also informs him of her decision to come clean to her husband if ever the result is positive, which burdens Imran.

However, while the two are oblivious as they are immersed in their problems, Kevin approaches them. In that heartbreaking scene, did Kevin hear everything?

Corrie viewers celebrated Kevin and Abi’s wedding last November 4’s episode, and many fans had already expressed their worries for Kevin as they reckoned Abi will get pregnant in “Coronation Street’s” post about Abi and Kev’s marriage.

“Oh they’ll ruin it, they can’t see anyone happy unfortunately,” another one declared.

“Wait until Abi has a little Imran,” an avid viewer suspected.
