Coronation Street spoilers reveal Beth Sutherland (Lisa Geoge) will continue targeting Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon). In fact, she not only gives her a hard time over her friendship/blooming relationship with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), Beth will accuse the young woman of trying to steal Sinead Osbourne’s (formerly Katie McGlynn) life. Is this romance doomed before it even begins?

Corrie spoilers indicate Beth has been furious with Bethany ever since she and Daniel kissed while Sinead lay dying. It wasn’t something that was done intentionally and they both felt guilty about it. However, it is very common when a spouse is very sick and/or dying, which is why it was put into the storyline.

Fast forward to right now and the two are trying to pursue a relationship. However, it has only been four months since Sinead died. Many fans feel it is too soon for Daniel to get involved with another woman.

So, she asks for Daniel’s blessing in getting on at the factor where Sinead used to work at. He approves and she gets hired, but is forced to work with Beth. The woman doesn’t make things easy for Bethany, despite being warned to behave herself at work. In fact, she outright accused Bethany of trying to steal Sinead’s life.

It is suggested that this romance is doomed before it really begins. Daniel still has issues related to losing his wife and being left a single parent. Bethany gets rejected from a college but they do offer an alternative, to be an intern at a magazine in London. However, she turns it down because she doesn’t want to be away from Daniel. He ends up finding out, but will he confront her? Or will her exit from the soap have to do with Ray Crosby (Mark Frost)?
