Coronation Street: Corey BrentCoronation Street spoilers have revealed villain Corey Brent will do a runner for his life after the police reopened Seb Franklin’s murder case with him now as the chief suspect.

Corey (Maximus Evans) will go to lengths on escaping justice again as things go against his favor when a homeless man named Stu double-crossed him and handed down his clothes filled with his victim, Seb’s (Harry Visinoni) blood on it.

Previous Coronation Street episodes saw Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) convince Stu to hand over Corey’s incriminating backpack which he found at the river. Although Stu did a runner at first, things changed when the girls relayed what he did to Seb.

But in reality, it was Corey who first found Stu, but the homeless man demanded £500 from him. When Corey gave him the money, he was oblivious that the rucksack was empty, as Stu had kept the bag’s contents and surrendered it to the girls.

“You were right, people like him treat the world like garbage and get away with it,” Stu told Nina when she asked him why he changed his mind.

Nina and Asha rushed to the police, who assured them they will consider opening Seb’s murder case with a higher possibility of arresting Corey Brent. Will things turn as promised?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Corey Brent Disappoints His Dad Stefan

Behind Corey’s success is his father Stefan (Paul Opacic) manipulating situations with his wealth. However, this time, Stefan gets disappointed with Corey getting duped and letting things escalate out of their control.

“I’m sorry, dad,” was all Corey could tell his father after finding out his clothes were not in the bag. Furious at his son, he asked him how incriminating the clothes to which Corey admitted: “A lot more than I could explain,” referring to how badly the clothes were stained with Seb’s blood.

Corey tried to talk his father out, but a raging Stefan cut him off. The duo tried to look for the clothes before the police did, but when they heard the news about the development, Stefan diverted his attention into arranging their escape route.

However, spoilers have documented that when Christian drives them from their hiding place to their safety as Stefan planned to leave the country, the van draws to a halt. Did Stefan change his mind?

The actor Maximus Evans already confirmed he has filmed his last scenes on the ITV soap to study at a top London Drama School.

Speaking exclusively to TV Times magazine, Maximus revealed he has enrolled at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama to further his training for acting.

“I love acting; it’s my passion, and I want to take it as far as I can and see what I can discover. At the minute, I’m on this big journey of self-discovery.”
