Coronation Street Spoilers – Turning On The Waterworks

Trouble follows Daisy ever since she first arrived in Weatherfield late last year. With her attempts to break her stepmother Jenny Connor’s (Sally Ann Matthews) marriage, this troublemaker blackmails Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) after finding the pair’s secret affair.

In ITV soap’s latest episode, Jenny finally learned what her stepchild is doing to Ronnie to line her own pockets. Daisy first justified that Ronnie is just helping her boost her Double Glammy sales. But Jenny didn’t buy any of that. Instead, she packed all of Daisy’s bag as she wants her gone. Daisy asked her stepmom to discuss things, but Jenny, to her dismay, admitted she trusted her and warned her not to say anything about her and Ronnie, but she failed her.

But the mischievous youngster knows how to justify her acts by using her tears. Jenny insisted Daisy should ring her dad to see if he’ll help her for the moment, but Daisy admitted they haven’t talked in years and confessed Jenny is the only family she got.

Jenny softened and gave her the chance to talk. Jenny revealed her late son Tom had caused a major crack in the family. Daisy connected with her by revealing the deeper pains she experienced in the past with his dad.

In the end, Jenny changed her mind and said, “You’ve been through enough and I feel bad I’ve only just found out about you and your dad. I should’ve supported you more.”

But Jenny didn’t know that this young lady with an angelic face tried to kill Marina, his father’s latest affair, the reason why she was kicked out. How long will Daisy keep her dark secrets under the rug?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Made To Be A Villain

Meanwhile, answering Digital Spy’s query about whether Daisy’s dramatic scene with Jenny was true, Charlotte believed it was her character Daisy’s 100% truth.

“For her to open up finally, and show that side of her, I think that takes quite a bit of trust with Jenny. Because so far she’s been fairly fake towards everybody just to get what she wants,” she said.

“This is her stripped back and saying: ‘This is what happened to me and I really don’t want to go, so please don’t kick me out’ … Which I think is a really nice side to see of her, because no-one’s born horrible. No-one’s born a bitch or a villain or whatever you want to call it – they’re made that way,” she added.
