Coronation Street Spoilers – Daisy Midgeley Tries To Break Up Jenny Connor And Johnny Connor’s Relationship
Jordan is relatively new to the soap and since her introduction to the cobbles, it was made clear that her character will stop at nothing until she successfully breaks up the relationship of her stepmother Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) and Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley).
The Potential To Become The Cobble’s Next Ultimate Villain
Daisy is manipulative and isn’t someone to be messed with. Having said that, it’s not surprising if Jordan wants her character to eventually be “an iconic bad girl” who will rival Tracy Barlow, the ultimate villain in the street.
In an interview with Stuff, the actress admitted that she has no clue what the long-term plans are for her character but she knows for sure that Daisy is the type of person who will do everything to protect herself, which makes her a dangerous person.

It seems like the actress is having fun with her role and even admitted that she’s enjoying causing some mischief in the cobbles. She revealed that she doesn’t play nice characters and wants to take on roles that are different from her in real life.
She described Daisy as someone who will “step over everyone else to get where she needs to get. She’s out for herself and has questionable morals. But she is loyal to those she loves.”
She likened Daisy to a chameleon who is capable of showing “different sides to different people.” She explained that “no one is born horrible or a villain – circumstances made them that way.”
For Daisy, she didn’t have a brilliant childhood. She felt abandoned when she was young and had to take care of herself at a young age. She didn’t have a mother or father who will guide her and tell her what’s right and wrong. She’s determined to get what she wants regardless of how she gets it.
Jordan said she’d never do the things that Daisy has done in the soap in real life but she’s having fun doing them while in character. She’s been receiving encouraging feedback about her portrayal of Daisy.
“People enjoy a bit of conflict. They love a trouble-maker,” she said.
