Coronation Street spoilers have teased that Curtis Delamere’s undiagnosed heart condition, which led him to experience a series of collapses, might be the soap’s biggest lie.

Avid viewers of the show knew about Curtis’ (Sam Retford) life-threatening unknown heart condition. After experiencing two collapses, Curtis visited a cardiologist and claimed that he suffered from a heart condition.

Curtis mentioned that he first experienced collapse when he was still 15 years old and his heart stopped during the time he played rugby. He also shared that his father passed away with the same condition called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). However, Curtis’ condition was left undiagnosed, for there were other symptoms that are not linked to HCM.

Knowing about her fiancé’s situation, Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) was worried sick and approached her dad, Steve (Simon Gregson) to let her borrow the money from Oliver’s fund for Curtis to find a medical expert for his heart condition.
