‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers Boss Iain MacLeod Teases Daisy Midgeley’s Future In The Cobbles
As their characters grow in the soap, the viewers have seen a huge difference between the newly engaged couple. Daniel Osbourne is like a younger version of Ken Barlow, who loves books and shows a passion for writing. On the other hand, Daisy Midgeley spends more of herself in the world of social media, which will soon be a dangerous place for her.
Producer Iain MacLeod opened up about the woman’s character, now that they are already starting to plan for their wedding. “It’s high profile but in her case, with quite a small-fry online following and it brings her into a certain degree of danger as the wedding approaches,” he told Metro.co.uk.
“Mini-Ken Barlow wants a serious and cultured wedding, but Daisy wants everything to be a bit extra. There’s fun to be had there but in the background, a creeping danger arises from her online life,” MacLeod continued. He also hinted that it would take a long time for the social influencer to notice the danger that she might involve in.
