Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) put their relationship to an end when the professor suspected his girlfriend that she told the school regarding Nicky Wheatley’s (Kimberly Hart-Simpson) past life. It all started when Max Turner (Paddy Beaver) leaked the videos and photos of Nicky as a sex worker. When the whole Weatherfield High School knew about it, Nicky lost her job as an assistant teacher.

With nowhere to go, Nicky agreed to Daniel’s offer to stay together with him in his flat. Now that the two got closer every day, Nicky developed some special feelings for Daniel. In her recent scenes, she was seen confessing her love for her former colleague, but Daniel was caught with some personal issues, including his failed relationship with Daisy.

Meanwhile, after seeing how miserable Daniel was, Nicky decided to have a conversation with Daisy and told her that he was still in love with her. Later that day, Daisy dropped by Daniel’s flat and revealed her decision to rekindle their love.

However, Daisy gave the man an ultimatum that she would not be romantically involved with him until Nicky was out of his flat for good. Will Daniel agree with Daisy’s idea? Will their rekindled relationship be the end of someone’s friendship?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Rob Mallard Talks About The Future Of His Character Daniel Osbourne

In his latest interview with Inside Soap, Rob Mallard talked about his character when he rejected the permanent teaching position. “I think in his heart he wants to do it, but his head’s telling him that maybe he’s not actually cut out for the job,” he said. When asked about the possible work for Daniel when he will finally quit his job, the 29-year-old actor thought that his character would fit for a lawyer as he is great at dealing with the argument.

However, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) is already Weatherfield’s attorney, so he has another job in mind, “He was training in journalism at one point, and that does involve arguing, so maybe he’d get back to that? It would drive him mad if he was to do something that was the same every day,” Mallard said.
