Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Dame Maureen Lipman, who plays the role of Evelyn Plummer, is set to take a short break from the soap later this year. The actress is set to step back from her role for four weeks as she takes Rose to the West End.

“I won’t hear a word against it. It’s full of quite exceptional actors working with very little rehearsal, very little direction,” she said at an interview with Reader’s Digest at that time.

He starts to panic when he learns that Max can be charged with Encouragement of Terrorism.

Aside from the fact that Max may go to jail, David needs to find the funds to cover the expensive fees of Solicitor Harriet. The latter said that she can make the court show leniency towards Max as she explains how he became a victim of Griff Reynold’s (Michael Condron) grooming.

Unfortunately, Max will make things worse for David when he decides to stop taking his calls. Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) will try to assure David that he’s not the person to blame.

However, he will once again turn to the bottle to drown his sorrows. He will also inform Maria that Max decided to plead guilty to the crime and is now awaiting his sentencing.
