Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) will walk through hell next week as he comes home to his flat trashed by the troubled teen Max Turner (Paddy Bever). He’s there to take revenge for his adoptive dad David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) after the teacher brought up David’s horrible rape ordeal.
But things escalate darkly when Daniel gets furious to see his memory of Sinead (Katie McGlynn) tampered so he shoves Max out of the door but the teen slips and tumbles down on the stairs. Daniel panics to see Max unconscious on the floor and calls an ambulance for the child. Unfortunately for the teacher, the police questions him about the incident to which he insists Max fell by accident. Will this incident jeopardize his job?
‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Making Up With A Kiss
David will get annoyed by the news that the school understandably believes Daniel’s version of events and his boss Mrs. Crawshaw (Carla Mendonça) encourages him to apply as a regular teacher at the end of his placement.
He and his wife Shona (Julia Goulding) believe Daniel pushed Max in purpose so when they cross paths, the men argue with each other. David insists it wasn’t an accident and Daniel’s new fling Lydia Chambers (Rebecca Ryan) tries to mediate the fight, while the teacher’s ex-girlfriend Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) witnesses the heated exchange.
When Daniel is all alone at his flat Daisy drops by to check on him but Daniel gets furious towards his ex after she admits she doubts that he’s telling the whole truth. However, their feud turns passionate when Daisy confesses she still wants him, and they kiss.
But they could be in trouble as Lydia comes in, and although they are quick to distance themselves, it does not assure that Lydia didn’t hear Daisy’s confession. Will the girls fight over one man?

The newcomer’s true colors remain a mystery to the cobbles although it’s clear she could be hiding something more when it was revealed she had a history with Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).
She was expected to cause more trouble for Adam’s marriage but things took a different turn when she ended up falling in love with Daniel after realizing they both share many things in common.
This week, she will be hesitant to pursue their relationship after learning about Daniel’s troubled past at school. Daisy will jump to his defense and when Daniel thanks her later, she invites him for a drink. As they talk Lydia will not be happy to notice the spark but will she be protective?
