In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, Daniel Osbourne selfishly dealt with his girlfriend’s medical scare. After she discovered a lump on her breast, Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) got so worried about her health that she immediately booked an appointment with Doctor Gaddas.

Daniel (Rob Mallard) then vowed to go with Daisy to the hospital. However, he broke his promise when fear devoured him when he suddenly remembered his late wife, Sinead. Instead of keeping her girlfriend company during her medical appointment, Daniel decided to spend time with hard liquors in the pub. He then thought about the possibility that Daisy will just end up dying, just like his former wife.

On the other hand, Daisy ended up going to her appointment alone when her beau didn’t show up. Meanwhile, Daniel arrived and made his girlfriend feel embarrassed due to his drunk status. Later that day, when the man came back to his senses, Daniel admitted his fear of losing Daisy in the future.

However, the woman walked out from their conversation after she stated her thoughts about her boyfriend. Daisy got disappointed as Daniel was too focused on his own feelings rather than supporting her with her medical battle.

Amidst their medical drama, a romantic moment was previously teased about Daniel and Daisy. In the upcoming episode of “Coronation Street,” Daniel pays a visit to Jenny (Sally Ann Mathews) as he asks for approval in marrying his girlfriend, Daisy. At first, the woman is not delighted with Daniel’s presence as she is coming from a late-night shift.

However, upon hearing the man’s intention, Jenny becomes excited about his plans, especially when he hands him the ring. Her initial reaction disturbs Daniel and explains that she is not the one whom he is asking to marry.

On the other hand, Jenny also makes it clear that she wouldn’t go for him “in a million years.” The former English professor reveals that he will be going to pop the question on Christmas Day while his girlfriend is opening her presents.
