“Coronation Street” spoilers have revealed that teacher Daniel is going to face trouble in a row with David Platt after denying Max of the help he provided Summer with.

Next week in the ITV soap, actor Paddy Bever takes over Harry McDermott’s character as Max Turner in a conflict between his adoptive father David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) and teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

Meanwhile, David checks on his adoptive son Max (Paddy Bever) and confronts him about his lack of homework. But the child explains his teachers are considerate enough to give him less because of his ADHD. Hesitant about his story, David asks Daniel.

But the two will end in conflict when Daniel gives a nasty remark of how pitiful it is that Max doesn’t use his brain for school and deceives his dad instead.

Insulted by his words, David finds something he can use against Daniel when he sees the teacher letting Summer in for her free tutorial. David stomps off with his son Max and points out Daniel is treating Summer differently and obviously a form of favoritism.

However, David tells Max more about Daniel’s past that can mar his career. How will Daniel clear out this issue?

Coronation Street Spoilers – Summer Spellman As Daniel Osbourne’s New Bethany?

David suggests to Max that Daniel might fancy Summer, connecting it to his history with niece Bethany.

Corrie viewers can still remember how Daniel fell for Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) when the latter became his shoulder to lean on when his late wife Sinead’s (Katie McGlynn) died because of cancer.

Despite the two being hated by Sinead’s family and neighbors for moving on so easily after Sinead’s death, they pursued their relationship. But in the end, Daniel broke Bethany’s heart in his proposal blunder, using his dead wife’s wedding ring and calling Bethany Sinead.

On September 24 Friday’s episode, Max criticizes Daniel by comparing his past with Bethany to the famous story of “Romeo and Juliet” in school.

Later, Daniel finds out his wallet in his jacket pocket is missing and he quickly accuses Max as the culprit. Max pours out his school bag onto the pavement to prove his innocence and when David sees the commotion, he jumps in defense of his son.

However, Coronation Street spoilers show Shona (Julia Goulding) is against David, believing that he is blindly defending Max as Daniel is not the type to lie. Daisy (Charlotte Jordan), who’s in hots for Daniel, goes in between and tries to calm him down, pointing out the risk of accusing Max without evidence and how it will badly impact his career.
