However, it lands him in hot water with David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd). Not only does David make an issue out of favoritism, but accuses Daniel of having a crush on Summer just like he did with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon). Then, things get physical.

Max Turner (Harry McDermott) tells David about Daniel tutoring Summer. When David starts quizzing him, like why doesn’t he have as much homework and why he can’t get tutored, Max says it’s because of his ADHD. So, David confronts Daniel about the situation since Max was denied the opportunity to get tutored, but Summer wasn’t. Daniel makes a comment about Max not using his brain for school, and David gets pretty irate.

Corrie Spoilers – Bringing Up Bethany Platt

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that David brings up Bethany and how Daniel was so eager to help her because of his interest in the girl. He implies that Daniel must have a thing for Summer, too. Max is listening to all of this hot gossip and then uses it against Daniel the next day at school. Max even likens Daniel and Bethany’s relationship to Romeo and Juliet.

As fans recall, Daniel ended up kissing Bethany while Sinead Osbourne (Katie McGlynn) was dying from breast cancer. It was a mistake but it was seen by Sinead’s loved ones, who made it a huge issue even after her death. After some time had passed, Daniel and Bethany started spending time together, but then she received an opportunity she couldn’t pass up. Of course, then there was the escort that Daniel got involved with, so he definitely has a type.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Missing Wallet

When Daniel’s wallet ends up going missing, he suspects that Max must have stolen it. He races to catch up with Max and demands that he empty his pockets. Daniel finally just grabs Max’s jacket to see if he has his wallet, but it is observed by David. Of course, David comes rushing over and demands to know why Daniel is manhandling Max.

How will Daniel explain why he assumes that Max stole his wallet without it affecting his job? How far will David go to make a point? We will have to keep watching the ITV soap to find out what happens next with this storyline.
