‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Emma And Faye’s Comeuppance

“Coronation Street” has unveiled more details for Emma and Faye’s consequences after getting into a car accident at the start of the year, with show boss Iain MacLeod hinting it will turn their lives “upside down.”

Faye (Ellie Leach) is determined to learn how to drive, savoring her moment in living a normal life outside prison although still under probation. However, her simple desire will jeopardize her freedom because the car accident with Emma (Alexandra Mardell) resulted in a deadly twist.

It all started with Emma, who’s been through hell for falling in love with Curtis (Sam Retford), and then finding out later on that he’s mentally sick and his mind is programmed to lie just to gain attention when they were only an inch closer to their wedding, decided to get wasted on New Year.

Coronation Street spoilers show Faye picked her up and on their way, they hit an elderly man named Ted. Although the elder promised them he’s fine that he even invited them for a cup of tea, Corrie boss MacLeod revealed it puts the girls “into this total nightmare of impossible dilemmas, secrecy, and cover-ups.”

Emma’s vulnerability and soft side will also be a challenge as the two agreed to bury their deadly secrets, and it will lead to “potentially really serious life-changing consequences.”

“I can’t imagine a much more hapless person to find themselves in the middle of a catastrophe than Emma,” MacLeod teased.

Will Emma be overwhelmed with guilt and betray Faye as she confesses their sins to the police?

Monday’s (January 3) double bill saw Emma hating herself for getting into trouble with no choice but to tight her lips in exchange for freedom as Faye convinced her they should cover up Ted’s death.

Blaming herself for the accident, Faye assured her they’re all in this together for she was the one who was driving.

“It could only happen to me because I’m so stupid,” Emma condemned herself.

The pair already lied to Craig (Colson Smith) but as a policeman will he catch a loophole in their versions?

According to Coronation Street spoilers, Emma can’t also help but compare herself to her ex Curtis who she dumped for consistently lying.

“Now I’m just as bad as he is. Now, I’m worse because I’m covering up a murder,” she declared.

Aside from Craig, Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) can also incriminate the pair for he saw them coming home and even reminded Emma she’s responsible for everything for being under the influence of alcohol while supervising a learner driver.
