Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Emma Brooker’s secret relationship with Jon Spear will get exposed in upcoming episodes.

Emma has been ignoring the looming danger of getting caught out in her involvement in Ted’s (Duggie Brown) death by dating his grandson Jon Spear (Jordan Ford Silver).

Understandably, her best friend Faye (Ellie Leach) and boyfriend Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) are against their budding romance since the trio manipulated situations in order to evade justice with their cover-up, which even caused Craig to sacrifice his profession.

Coronation Street Spoilers – The Drama Begins

But behind their back, Emma continues to meet Jon secretly by lying to them, however, the barmaid is about to get busted in upcoming scenes next week.

The drama begins when Craig asks Emma to walk the dog because Faye continues to struggle with her allergy to peanuts. Emma won’t miss this chance to see Jon so by taking advantage of the stroll, she arranges a date with him.

However, her fairytale is soon cut when they bump into Craig’s mother Beth (Lisa George) and in panic, she introduces her beau as an old school friend. Is this the end for Emma?

Emma loses Craig’s trust when Beth relays the encounter to him, sparking suspicions. Craig confronts Emma, convinced that she’s secretly meeting Jon, but she insists it’s not true.

Craig sighs in relief when he learns later in the week that he’s still welcome to come back to the police force after exchanging it for a job in the Underworld factory. But how will he handle the situation if he learns about Emma’s secret love affair?

Despite the pressure, Emma continues to see Jon who reveals that his grandfather left him £25k in his will. He drops bombshell news to Emma, revealing that he plans to move to Australia to start a new with the money.

With the revelation, Emma wants to maximize their remaining time together so they book a hotel, lying once again to Faye and Craig that she’s spending the day with her old school friend. Will the couple uncover the truth?

How will Jon’s revelation lead to Emma’s exit on the cobbles? Will he move away to Australia with him? Leaving Faye and Craig behind, will they be pinned for Ted’s death?

Emma’s portrayer Alexandra Mardell already filmed her final scenes after four years on the ITV soap. In an interview with the media, she described playing the character as “the best experience of her life.”
