Coronation Street Spoilers: Eva Price’s Exit Revealed

Coronation Street spoilers indicate another key character will soon be leaving Weatherfield, much to the dismay of viewers. In fact, actress Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva Price on the hit ITV soap, has recently been spotted filming her last scenes as she is preparing to exit the soap. Catherine has been playing the character since her arrival in 2011.

In images obtained by the British media, Catherine can be seen leaving the Rochdale with her co-stars Georgia Taylor and Jane Danson. This is after she attended an emotional inquest into Aidan Connor’s death.

She was left completely distraught when her ex-lover took his own life just last month, as she was hoping that they would finally get back together. And now the first-time mother – whose daughter Susie is actually Aidan’s biological daughter – will have to hear about the details of his death for the very first time.

Speaking about her decision to leave the show, Catherine said (via Express.co.uk): “The timing seemed right. My son Alfie doesn’t start at school for another two years so as a family we wanted the chance to travel. I have relatives in Australia, but we didn’t want to go for just a couple of weeks. We’d like to go over there and spend six weeks or more over there and then visit as many countries as possible.”

As far as whether or not Catherine will return to Weatherfield, remains to be seen! Coronation Street airs weeknights on the ITV network and is available on Britbox in the United States. Check your local listings for times.
