She’s not only struggling with her health problem but also with her relationship with Craig. He’s become quite overbearing after her diagnosis, and they decided to put their relationship on ice, at least for now.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Faye Windass’s Struggles

Faye isn’t coping well with the struggles she’s facing. When she sees Craig talking to another woman, she immediately gets jealous. She decides to get back at him by making a pass at Michael during the Underworld mini celebration at the Rovers, hosted by Carla Barlow (Alison King).

Michael immediately pulls away when Faye tries to kiss him. He pointed out that what she’s doing isn’t right because she’s drunk and she’s with Craig.

Faye goes home feeling embarrassed but she feels guiltier when she finds Craig in the flat. He surprises her with a romantic meal to apologize for his actions.

Ellie Leach, the actress behind Faye, explained what her character was thinking when she kissed Michael.

The actress explained that Faye didn’t kiss Michael “out of spite, but maybe a little bit. But in the long term, she’s probably not enjoying it as much as she thinks she would. She’s doing it because she’s upset and feels like Craig’s fine without her, and she doesn’t feel the same.”

The actress also admitted that she hasn’t experienced what her alter ego is going through right now. She admitted that the storyline is real even though it doesn’t often happen to people.

Leach is excited to explore the storyline and to raise awareness because she knows that many people have no clue that such a health problem exists. She added that she’s made her own research about early menopause even though the research team had done it as well.

She just wanted to make sure that she won’t get anything wrong as she portrays her character dealing with such a problem. She doesn’t want to offend anybody because it’s a very sensitive subject.
