Coronation Street Spoilers: Geoff Metcalfe Abuse Of Yasmeen Gets Worst, Will Alya Confront Him?

Geoff Metcalfe has always been an evil man, but things are about to get even worse on Coronation Street.

One of the most tragic circumstances in this world is to be an abused woman and Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) knows all about this. In upcoming episodes, Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) is set to get even more evil than he normally is, after he discovers Yasmeen dares to not make his dinner on time.

In recent weeks, Geoff Metcalfe has been abusing Yasmeen Nazir and controlling her using a number of coercive methods. These include gaslighting Yasmeen, destroying her self-confidence and controlling her money and movements. He also makes rules about who she can visit or not visit.

The abuse has gradually built to a level where Yasmeen has been reduced to just a shell of her former self. She now fully believes she isn’t good enough in any way.

Things are likely to get even worse for Yasmeen in an upcoming episode, where Geoff finds out she is late getting his dinner on the table. When Geoff gets home, he finds her fussing with her chickens instead of in the kitchen, preparing his meal. Metcalfe is already mad with Yasmeen for allowing Alya (Sair Khan) back into the bistro so when he gets home to no dinner, he totally loses it with her, for which Yasmeen sincerely apologizes.

Her apologies go on deaf ears, after she serves him up a plate of vegetables, saying she didn’t have enough money to buy meat for his dinner. His reaction to the news is set to be really bad.

Gail Rodwell finds Yasmeen in tears

Yasmeen goes outside again to feed her chickens and her neighbor, Gail Rodwell (Helen Worth) sees her in tears and is concerned about her. When Gail sees Alya, she tells her what she heard, which convinces Alya once and for all that Geoff is bad for her grandmother. But what can Alya do to find out exactly what is going on with Yasmeen?

As it is, Geoff is determined to break the relationship between Alya and Yasmeen and he becomes worse, as he told Yasmeen and Alya off when he caught them talking at work. He then shows Alya a bad online review for the bistro and blames her for this bad reaction from a customer.

Alya already dislikes Geoff and after Gail told her about Yasmeen crying in the garden, alarm bells go off in her head. Now we have to wait and see whether Alya will confront Geoff over the situation and what reaction he will have to this.
