Coronation Street hint that Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) will up his manipulation to the next level as Yasmeen tries to stand on her own feet. Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) has called out Geoff, and it ready to let him go; however, it will not be easy for her to do. As a threat from Geoff sends her running back to him in a heartbeat. Coronation Street Spoilers – Caught In A Lie

Geoff has been emotionally and mentally abusive toward Yasmeen, but she has not been able to see this. After countless attempts to convince Yasmeen of who Geoff is, Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) finally gets through to her. While preparing to go to a wedding, Geoff tells them that he booked a room at an expensive hotel, which Alya questions him about. Wanting to stop Yasmeen from going to the trip, since he never booked the room, he decides to fake a hard attack. However, her suspension begins as she looks through his laptop to see that he never booked a room to begin with.

This is going to push her to realize that he has not been truthful and that she should not trust him. She leaves and meets up with Alya, informing her that she was right about everything.

However, she will get a string of text from Geoff saying that he will be taking his own life. When she gets back home, she finds a broken picture frame with blood on it. Around the same time, she will meet up with the police who had looked into Geoff’s past.

It is possible that this is just another sick and twisted plan that Geoff has come up with in order to stop Yasmeen from leaving him. This could not put past him since he has faked a heart attack before. It will be interesting to find out what information the police officers will bring to Yasmeen. What do you think? Could Geoff be serious, or is this another way to manipulate Yasmeen? Will Yasmeen leave anyways, or will she stay stuck in the relationship?
